Aims & objectives

• To bring together people interested in the study, folklore and heritage of the parish of Llanddewi Aberarth.
• To encourage the preservation of local records, antiquities and sites of local historical interest.

Geographical area covered by the group

The parish of Llanddewi Aberarth and the surrounding area so far as it has affected Aberarth.

History of the group

Formed in June 2004 following a very succesful exhibition of old photographs the previous September. Has a secure storage cabinet to hold historical documents.

Current and ongoing projects

Preparation for further exhiition to show changes and development of the village over the last 200 years.

Future aspirations

To create greater interest in our heritage.
